Data Center Routers
Data centers are physical facilities that companies use to house their data and critical applications. So, the design of the data center is chiefly based on the computing network and storage resources that can enable the delivery of data and shared applications. Among the other critical components of a data center design, routers are one of the fundamental ones. They connect different networks to receive, analyze and forward the data packets. In addition, these data center routers are responsible for connecting other network protocols and breaking the larger networks into smaller ones. The central ones form the high-speed backbone of networking supporting many LANs.
