JBOD is the multilevel configuration for disks, which stands for "just a bunch of disks." It is the collection of disks in a computer used by organizations that require efficient on-premises storage methods. The JBOD architecture enables one to get a group of hard drives or varying shapes and thereby mix to configure them into a single logical one. Or they can configure the set into a group of individual hard drives. But JBOD does not offer any performance enhancements or fault tolerance.
