As a leader in high-power switchboard solutions, Anord Mardix has more than 40 years of cross-sector experience. From hospitals to shopping malls, office developments to data centers, our knowledge and expertise is built into every product.
- Designed, tested and built to UL 891 with rigid, bolted construction as standard
- Flexible construction with in-line and the more unusual back-to-back, U and L shaped configurations
- Top, bottom, front or rear cable access is possible
- Smallest footprint in the market and 6000A switchboards are also shallower than any others
- Advanced 3D modelling technique delivers consistent construction standards
- Type tested options for double stacking of ACBs, high density stacking of MCCBs, reduced height switchboards or bespoke cable management solutions for constrained spaces where temperature increases need to be carefully limited (see fuller details below).
- Seismically tested and certified to IBC and OSHPD standards proving robust construction and resilience
- Front access with top, bottom or side feed, suitable for thermal imaging
- Fixed, Plug-In or Drawout circuit breakers available
- Available with Integrated Exertherm™ thermal monitoring
- NEMA 1 Enclosure with NEMA 3R in late stages of development
- Provision for future extension
- Group or individually mounted options available
As a context for all of the above, safety is an absolute priority for all Anord Mardix products in use.
Your operator of any functional unit will always be protected by a dead front cover. This cover will be the front door of the switchboard when the device is being operated with the door closed and it will be an internal cover when the device is being operated with the door open. When a device is being operated, the dead front cover provides full protection from live components. Devices can be individually, or group mounted and metallic barriers separate vertical switchboard sections.
Anord Mardix LV switchgear incorporate Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs), Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) and fuse switches. Typical brands used for these purposes are Schneider/Square D, ABB, Eaton, Siemens and Terasaki, which are recognized as high integrity components. If you have space constraints within in your building then you may require double stacking of ACBs, high density stacking of MCCBs, reduced height switchboards or customized cable management solutions.
Separate compartments are designated for metering, control and BMS terminals. Contacts for BMS are internally wired and taken to BMS terminal rails. Protection fuses and control components are clearly labelled and cross referenced to our schematic drawings.
