- Provides power across unshielded twisted-pair wiring to devices attached to its six standard PoE 10/100/1000-Mbps copper ports.
- Also has two dual-media port interfaces, each of which can be used as either an extra copper 10/100/1000 PoE port or for adding a 1000-Mbps fiber uplink (optional SFP required).
- Copper ports autonegotate for speed and feature Auto-MDI-X for crossover or straight-through cabling.
- Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3/u/x/z/ab/af standards.
- Manageable via an Ethernet or a Web-based connection associated with an SNMP agent.
- VLAN and QoS prioritization features. Supports Layer 4 TCP/UDP port and ToS classifications with four internal priority queues.
Supports LACP port trunking with up to four trunking groups for each group.
- Autodetects powered device and consumption levels, and supports per-port consumption monitoring.
- Enables you to manage bandwidth ingress and egress rates per port.
- Broadcast/multicast storm suppression restricts excess traffic by port.
- Port mirroring for monitoring traffic ingress on a port without interrupting data flow.
- Configure redundant backup bridge paths with 802.1w/802.1s/802.1d spanning tree capabilities.
- Supports 802.1x access control, IP MAC binding, and management access policy controls.
- Circuit protection prevents power interference between PoE ports.
- RoHS compliant.
- Provides PoE power to end devices on your Gigabit Ethernet network.
- Has eight ports available to supply 65 watts of 802.3af power to end PoE devices, such as wireless access points, VoIP phones, and security cameras.
