Automatic Transfer Switch

An automatic transfer switch or ATS is responsible for transferring essential load connections between the alternate and primary electrical power sources. The dedicated control logic chiefly governs the self-acting, smart power switching equipment. The principal use of this switch is to ensure that there is continuous delivery of electrical power from either power source to the specified connected load circuit. Hence, it is an ideal addition to the data centers that require an uninterrupted electricity supply to maintain steady uptime. Therefore, these switches act as the “brain” of the entire electrical system.
